Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Manvendra Pratap Singh, a sole proprietorship trading as Toolsduniya ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal data on toolsduniya.in and app.toolsduniya.in (Toolsduniya Connect). It is written with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 in mind.

1. Data we collect

• Enquiries: name, phone / WhatsApp number, email, business name and your message when you use our contact form or WhatsApp us.
• Purchases: name, email, mobile, state, optional business name and GSTIN, product, amount, gateway order / payment ID and invoice details. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on the payment gateway's page and never reach or are stored by us.
• Toolsduniya Connect accounts: your name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), workspace and team details, your WhatsApp Business Account and phone-number IDs, and an access token (stored encrypted).
• Data you put into Toolsduniya Connect: your customers' contact details, tags, consent / opt-out status, message templates and messages sent or received.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and server logs needed to run and secure the services, and a login cookie on app.toolsduniya.in. This website does not currently use advertising pixels or analytics cookies; if we add them, we will update this policy first.

2. How we use it

• To answer enquiries and deliver the products, software and services you request
• To process payments, issue GST invoices, handle refunds and meet tax and legal duties
• To send and receive WhatsApp messages on your behalf through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API)
• To send order and service messages; marketing messages only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time
• To keep our systems secure and prevent fraud

3. Your customers' data (for Toolsduniya Connect users)

For contact lists and messages you upload or receive in Toolsduniya Connect, you are the Data Fiduciary and we act as your processor. You must have a lawful basis and the opt-in consent of each person before messaging them, and must not upload purchased or scraped lists. We use this data only to provide the service to you, never sell it, and never message your contacts for our own purposes.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the business:

• Hostinger: website hosting, email, and the server that runs Toolsduniya Connect (India)
• Meta Platforms: WhatsApp Business Platform, to deliver your WhatsApp messages
• Payment gateway: the RBI-authorised gateway that processes your payment (shown on the checkout page)
• Automation tools you connect yourself (for example Pabbly or Zapier webhooks), only where you set them up
• Government or law-enforcement authorities when required by law

5. Retention

• Orders and invoices: for the period required under GST and income-tax law (GST requires 72 months from the due date of the annual return).
• Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
• Toolsduniya Connect: while your account is active. Raw webhook logs are deleted after 7 days. When you ask us to close your workspace, we delete its contacts and messages within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

6. Security

HTTPS on all pages, passwords stored as hashes, WhatsApp access tokens encrypted (AES-256), payment confirmation checked server-side with the gateway, restricted admin access and no payment secrets in website code. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps and will notify affected users and authorities of a personal-data breach as required by law.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Email info@toolsduniya.in; we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the latest version and date are always on this page.
